Terms of Service

These terms provide general information about the website and software development services offered by Youso ltd. through yousoltd.com.

Last updated: October 29, 2026

01

Services

Youso ltd. offers website development, web application development, application modernization, API integration and related software development services.

The exact services, features, deliverables, schedule and price for a project should be agreed upon before development begins.

02

Project Scope

Each project is based on an agreed scope of work. Requests that substantially change or expand the agreed scope may require additional development time and may result in additional charges.

03

Client Materials

Clients are responsible for providing information, text, images, logos, account access or other materials reasonably required to complete their project.

Clients should have the necessary rights or permission to use any content or materials they provide for inclusion in a project.

04

Pricing and Quotes

Prices displayed on yousoltd.com describe available services and starting or stated package prices where applicable. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Custom projects may require an individual quote based on their requirements and complexity.

The price agreed upon directly for a specific project will govern that project.

05

Payments

Payment is requested after the project scope and payment amount have been agreed upon. Please pay only an amount that we have agreed with you.

Online payments are made by card or another method offered at checkout, and are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

A payment is considered received only after the funds have been successfully received and verified.

06

Cancellations and Refunds

Because development work may involve time spent planning, designing, configuring or writing custom code, cancellation and refund arrangements may depend on the amount of work already completed and the agreement for the specific project.

Any applicable cancellation or refund terms should be confirmed as part of the project agreement.

07

Project Ownership

Ownership and permitted use of custom project deliverables should be determined by the agreement for the specific project.

Third-party software, libraries, frameworks, services, images, fonts and other licensed materials remain subject to their respective licences and terms.

08

Third-Party Services

Projects may depend on third-party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, payment providers, APIs, email services or other external platforms.

Availability, pricing, policies and operation of third-party services are controlled by their respective providers and may change independently.

09

Website and Software Operation

Reasonable care is taken when developing and delivering projects. However, websites, software, hosting platforms, browsers, third-party services and external systems can change or experience interruptions.

Specific maintenance, support, availability or performance commitments should be stated separately in the agreement for the project.

10

Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for losses arising from a project will be subject to the terms agreed for that project and any rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11

Changes to These Terms

These website terms may be updated from time to time as services or business practices change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
